US viewers will be able to see Living Downstream in their living rooms on Thanksgiving evening! The film will air on Outside Television on November 22, 2012 at 8 pm and 11 pm (EST).
We are thrilled to announce that Outside Television will be presenting the film twice on November 22, 2012 as part of Mountainfilm on Outside Television, the channel will air the award-winning documentary, plus an interview with the film’s director Chanda Chevannes.
Based on the acclaimed book by ecologist and cancer survivor Sandra Steingraber, PhD, Living Downstream brings together the emotional resonance of Sandra’s personal story—she was first diagnosed with bladder cancer at just twenty—and the hard facts of her scientific research. The result is an inspiring depiction of Sandra’s life and work and a passionate reminder of the intimate connection between the health of our bodies and the health of our air, land, and water.
